Villa's basic

If looking for a safe and spacious garden to play with children, fully equipped house and private swimming pool, feel the healthy nature and the way of an Istrian traditional life welcome to the Villa Barbara (Frankovici).

Situated in the small village of Frankovici, just to the north east of the Limski Kanal, Villa Barbara is an Istrian house built of the stone.
In this stand-alone villa , 150 m away from the local road and the first houses, you will find a peaceful and quite place.
A large garden, surrounding the house, with 1000 sq m gives you a sense of the comfortable stay and yet easily overlooked.

Villa Barbara is almost completely enclosed by a stone wall and surrounded by fields. From the first floor there are wonderful views across the countryside as far as the Adriatic Sea.

Villa's details

A lovely covered terrace runs the entire width of the house, looking out across the garden towards the inviting pool, irresistible with its inlaid turquoise blue mosaic tiles. The 8m X 4m pool is surrounded by sun terraces with sun beds.

This will surely be the focal point for al fresco dining particularly as the in-built barbeque and the summer kitchen are just a few steps away.

Solid wood doors lead into the open plan living accommodation where stone walls gives the atmosphere of the old times and a whitewashed wall maximize the sense of spaciousness. Character features include exposed wood beams and quarry tiled flooring as well as thoughtful choices such as colorful, local ceramics in the spacious plain kitchen.
Oak bedroom furniture and colorful, local ceramics in the bathrooms keeps you in warm feeling of the nature.

Ian and Sue says: "An ideal choice for families wanting a very quiet holiday in a beautiful location. Whilst the Villa is literally in the middle of no where you are only 30 mins away from some excellent fish restaurants in the Limski Fjord. We have had 7 Villa holidays previously and this rated as one of the best. The Villa is almost new, very well equipped and has been fitted out to an excellent standard. The gardens are safe and ideal for small children but the pool would have been better with Roman steps.
All local Agents were extremely helpful when needed. "
